23-106 5 CCR § 59703(b)(5) requires California community college police/public safety departments to attend and participate in campus activities not involving a "police response" or "safety-related activity." Our wish is to have a database compilation of all COPPS events generated in CAD by dispatch, with the ability to manually enter/log events, which can then be sorted/filtered and exported for the regulation's reporting requirements.

23-108 A searchable check box for reports released to give us the ability to run stats on how many reports were released in a certain time frame.

23-112 To have a "Delete this Record" button when running the Unverified Incident Locations report so those that have been verified/corrected can be removed from the list like the Unverified Person Locations report. Unless I keep track of when I last ran the Unverified Incident Locations report, I have no way of knowing which incidents I have already reviewed. Some cannot be verified, so they continue to be on the list

23-115 In cases, when a subject is listed as a victim, the involvement cannot be changed after the fact. For example, a case that gets submitted where we are investigating child abuse, the child was originally entered as a victim in the primary report. In the course of the investigation it is determined that they are not a victim and we would like to change them to “mentioned” instead of “victim”. We were told that in order to do this, the person must be deleted and then entered back into the case with the new involvement. This has caused a work flow issue. In summary, we would like to be able to change the involvement in the event the victim is not actually a victim, without deleting.

23-116 We would like the person’s name box to separate: First field: FirstName, Second field: LastName, or having it automatically correct to ln, fn when an officer enters the name. This has come up a few times where the name is entered into the free-form name box as FN LN and then it doesn’t match when you search LN, FN. It’s something the officers are still learning to do, but it would help reduce the margin for errors.

23-118 Add a field to enter officer's phone number in the Unit Status display. Also add this field to the Mobile RIMS log in screen. The phone number will be linked to User ID, not the Unit ID.

23-120 When a unit conducts a traffic stop/OIA and the Dispatcher hits F5 (while the deputy is arrived on another call, 1021 for example) have RIMS place their current call back into the pending (Which RIMS already does if there is no other unit on the call) and automatically "holds" the call from them.

23-124 More color coding options that are agency configurable- arrests are already color coded red; so perhaps complaint requests, sealed cases, purged cases, etc. can be configured to be different colors (highlighted, bordered, or different color font) so they stand out. This would make it a lot easier to identify and track.

23-125 Have a "recently viewed" log for cases, subpoenas, warrants, etc. Similar to how we have the little log for people look up on the right side of the screen.

23-126 Option to reopen the Yellow Sticky Notes from the CAD or Other menu. When in custom mode, the notes accidentally get closed but there is no way to open them without a restart.

23-127 When looking through Persons/Property/Vehicles/etc. items in a case, we then try closing the main case window (with everything still open) but get the message "Close person/property/vehicle/narrative display first" at the bottom. When the "close display first" message comes up, bring that associated window to the foreground so users can see if they want to save/cancel that window.

This would be especially useful when differentiating with common names/multiple people. The field should be editable to notate numbers and/or letters as needed. 23-143 Extra patrol requests, (Scheduled Incidents) - As we close a call for service and the Officer provides a disposition that the RP would like extra patrol for a week, night, etc., can we add an option, (check box), similar to what is on the picture attached and a blank space for a date or range of dates? Then what is typed in the large box, the date, and the address associated to the call can be transferred over to scheduled incidents and will populate automatically.

23-163 In RIMS- System Management - Configuration - CAD 3 - request configuration to include an option to ONLY change colors when an incident has notes added by another user. Currently the updates occur for ANY action, such as status changes, requests for case #'s etc. which reduces the impact of the color change and is excessive. Additionally, the incident flashes after a period of time if not acknowledged, which is not desirable. Request is that configuration be added so that the color changes when notes are added to the incident, AND that it never goes into a flashing state.

23-180 Dual disposition capabilities per offense on the SA arrest page to include dual Court, dual Judge, and dual Disposition. Example. a suspect gets arrested and charged through one court, which then gets either bound over, or referred to a different court. We would like the ability to track the entire process. ie. Billybob, a juvenile gets arrested and charged through Juvenile court, but they later find that this is a subsequent offense, which requires being charged through adult (higher) court. we would like the ability to track this whole path, under the Arrest disposition

23-184 Highlight, select, Drag, and drop, data entry for the Citation entry screen. The ability to have drivers license and vehicle registration information run during an incident pull up when entering Citations for that incident, to be drag and drop for entry. example; when an Officer makes a traffic stop, the plate is run, the driver and others involved are also run. The Officer then closes Cite / warning / whatever. When the citations are entered, as the incident is pulled up, It would be nice to have access to the Incident within Citation screen, in order to make the data a drag and drop entry
